(Taipei, July 8, 2019, Central News Agency, International Wire) After several energy transport ships were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz recently, the United States revoked temporary sanctions exemptions for Iranian oil, and international oil prices closed higher today.
Bloomberg News reported that the August contract price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 2.8% to close at $70.44 per barrel.
