(New York, July 7, CNA, Foreign News) Uncertainty surrounding the future of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry has sparked investor concerns, dragging down the performance of technology stocks and leading to a lower close for Wall Street markets today.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 130.76 points, or 0.25%, to close at 52925.15.

The S&P 500 index dropped 33.58 points, or 0.45%, to end at 7503.85.

The Nasdaq Composite Index plunged 302.47 points, or 1.16%, to 25818.69.
