Fire in三重 District Building, 2 People Briefly Trapped on Eaves Rescued Safely

(Central News Agency, Reporter Wang Hong-kuo, New Taipei, July 8) Thick smoke billowed from the 3rd floor of a 12-story building on Section 3, Huanhe North Road, Sanchong District, New Taipei City, around 5 p.m. today. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to rescue the trapped individuals. Two people were briefly trapped on the eaves but were successfully rescued by firefighters using ladders.

The Fire Department stated that they received the report at 5:04 p.m. and promptly dispatched 30 vehicles and 78 personnel to the scene. One man and one woman were briefly trapped on the eaves of the 3rd floor. They were successfully rescued by firefighters using ladders. Both were conscious and sent to the hospital for precautionary observation. Additionally, two other individuals escaped under the guidance of the firefighters.
