Taipei, July 8 (CNA) Passive component giant Yageo announced today its unaudited consolidated net revenue for June was NT$15.359 billion, an increase of 2% month-on-month and 38.9% year-on-year, setting a new monthly record. The company's unaudited revenue for the second quarter was NT$44.456 billion, a 16.5% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 35.7% increase year-on-year, also a quarterly record. Accumulated unaudited revenue for the first six months of this year reached NT$82.622 billion, a 29.35% increase year-on-year.

Yageo stated that June's performance was mainly boosted by continued strong demand from AI-related applications, with stable growth in both standard and specialty products.

Looking ahead, Yageo pointed out that the electronic component industry is undergoing a structural transformation due to AI demand. The company continues to closely monitor related developments. Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties, customer inventory levels are currently healthy. Yageo will prudently respond to changes in the economic environment and flexibly adjust to mitigate the impact of tariff policies and exchange rate fluctuations.

Yageo previously indicated that its book-to-bill (B/B) ratio reached 1.3, meaning orders exceeded shipments. The company expects its production capacity utilization rate to continue to increase, with general product utilization estimated to rise above 80% and specialty product utilization above 90%.
