LONDON (CNA) - Following a new wave of attacks in the Middle East, US President Trump announced that the ceasefire with Iran "is over." International oil prices surged by more than 5% today.

According to AFP, the international benchmark Brent crude oil price rose 5.3% to $78.09 per barrel. US benchmark crude futures, West Texas Intermediate, rose 5.4% to $74.23 per barrel.
