(CNA Taipei, July 8) Highpoint announced today on behalf of its Malaysian subsidiary, Highpoint Service Network Sdn Bhd, that it has acquired ordinary shares of Miifix Digital Sdn Bhd. The transaction involves 124,000 shares with a total transaction amount of RM6.078 million, aimed at expanding repair service-related business in Malaysia.

The announcement stated that the transaction volume is 124,000 shares, with a transaction price of RM49.01 per share, totaling RM6.078 million. As of now, the cumulative number of securities held (including this transaction) is 204,000 shares, amounting to RM10 million, representing a 51% stake. Miifix Digital Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian supplier of mobile device repair and parts.

According to information on Highpoint's official website, Highpoint is a subsidiary of the Acer Group. Its business operations provide multi-country support, authorized multi-brand testing, repair, and maintenance services. Service items include computers and peripherals, office and consumer electronics and peripherals, servers and workstations, and network and data center equipment. The company aims to deeply cultivate the Asia-Pacific market and has established subsidiaries in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
