Correctional Administration Agency Personnel Changes: Su Wei-kuo Promoted to Deputy Director-General

(Central News Agency, Taipei, July 8) Following a comprehensive review and adjustment of vacant leadership positions within correctional institutions, the Ministry of Justice has approved the latest personnel changes, announced today. Su Wei-kuo, Chief Secretary of the Correctional Administration Agency, has been promoted to Deputy Director-General of the agency.

The Ministry of Justice issued a press release stating that to accommodate vacant leadership positions in correctional institutions under the agency, and to facilitate smooth operations and promote talent exchange within the agency and its subordinate institutions, appropriate personnel have been selected for new posts to usher in a new era for correctional services. The personnel orders will take effect on the 16th.

The list of personnel changes is as follows:

1. Yang Fang-yen, Director of Yilan Prison, transferred to Director of Taichung Prison. 2. Liu Ming-chang, Deputy Director-General of the Correctional Administration Agency, transferred to Director of Yilan Prison. 3. Su Wei-kuo, Chief Secretary of the Correctional Administration Agency, promoted to Deputy Director-General of the Correctional Administration Agency. 4. Tseng Wen-chin, Director of Hsinchu Prison, transferred to Chief Secretary of the Correctional Administration Agency. 5. Rao Ya-chi, Director of Kaohsiung Women's Prison, transferred to Director of Hsinchu Prison. 6. Li Tsung-li, Director of Taitung Prison, transferred to Director of Kaohsiung Women's Prison. 7. Cheng Tsui-fen, Director of Kaohsiung Rehabilitation Center, transferred to Director of Taitung Prison. 8. Chiu Liang-yi, Director of Taitung Rehabilitation Center, transferred to Director of Kaohsiung Rehabilitation Center. 9. Lu Hsien-tzu, Director of Green Island Prison, transferred to Director of Taitung Rehabilitation Center. 10. Hua Shao Nafaliu, Deputy Head of the Correctional Medical Division of the Correctional Administration Agency, transferred to Director of Green Island Prison. 11. Chen Hsien-chang, Director of Kaohsiung Second Prison, promoted to Director of Pingtung Prison. 12. Yang Yi-chang, Director of Taichung Detention Center, transferred to Director of Kaohsiung Second Prison. 13. Tseng Chih-hsun, Director of Penghu Prison, transferred to Director of Taichung Detention Center. 14. Liu Chia-sheng, Head of the Rehabilitation and Guidance Division of the Correctional Administration Agency, promoted to Director of Penghu Prison. 15. Chang Lung-chuan, Director of Wuling Minimum-Security Prison, transferred to Head of the Rehabilitation and Guidance Division of the Correctional Administration Agency. 16. Chu Chieh-min, Director of Taipei Women's Detention Center, transferred to Director of Wuling Minimum-Security Prison. 17. Chiang Ching-lung, Director of Miaoli Detention Center, transferred to Director of Taipei Women's Detention Center. 18. Tu Tsung-tien, Director of Hsinchu Detention Center, transferred to Director of Miaoli Detention Center. 19. Lu Hsien-tsan, Director of Kinmen Prison, transferred to Director of Hsinchu Detention Center. 20. Chiang Chih-cheng, Deputy Director of Kaohsiung Prison, promoted to Director of Kinmen Prison. 21. Chan Li-wen, Director of Hualien Detention Center, transferred to Director of Taipei Juvenile Detention Center. 22. Chiu Huan-tang, Director of the Secretariat Office of the Correctional Administration Agency, promoted to Director of Hualien Detention Center. 23.
