(CNA reporter Chang Jung-hsiang Tainan, July 9) The Tainan City Police Department's Juvenile Police Corps announced today the dismantling of the "Little Bee" drug trafficking ring, arresting the main suspect and 3 others, along with 5 drug users, and seizing drug-laced coffee packets. Police investigation revealed that the group operated a 24-hour shift system using vehicles to sell drugs, functioning like a mobile drug convenience store.
The Juvenile Corps told CNA reporter today that police raided and busted the "Little Bee" drug trafficking ring on the afternoon of July 7th in the North District. They subsequently arrested the main suspect, a 23-year-old man surnamed Lin, known by the nickname "Brother Jie," along with 3 others and 5 drug users. Simultaneously, 100 packets of cathinone-mixed drug-laced coffee were seized.
Police stated that this group primarily trafficked drugs throughout Tainan, operating in pairs with a 24-hour shift system using vehicles for drug sales. They conducted transactions in various administrative districts around the clock, resembling a mobile drug convenience store. Upon receiving an order, they would immediately deliver the drugs, and if they suspected their vehicle was being tracked by police, they would quickly switch vehicles.
Furthermore, Lin and the other 3 individuals tested positive for drugs in their urine. After interrogation, police transferred them to the Tainan District Prosecutors Office for investigation on drug-related charges. (Editor: Liang Chun-di) 1150709
