(CNA, reporter Pan Chih-yi, Taipei, July 9) Chin Ming Industrial General Manager Chien Hao-ting stated that Taiwan possesses comprehensive advantages in semiconductors, electronic components, precision manufacturing, and supply chain integration. Ukraine has accumulated rich experience in unmanned systems, communication technology, and applications and field testing in high-intensity environments. Japan, meanwhile, has a solid foundation in quality management, system verification, and industrial implementation. If the three parties leverage their complementary strengths, it will help shorten the timeline for technology commercialization and accelerate the international market development of autonomous unmanned systems.

Chin Ming Industrial issued a press release today, stating that Chien Hao-ting was invited to attend the launch press conference of the "Japan-Ukraine Drone Cluster (JUDC)" held at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ) in Tokyo on July 6. He took the stage to share industry perspectives with Kateryna Yavorska, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (UCCJ), and Professor Yoshiki Okabe of Kobe Gakuin University. They discussed the development trends of unmanned systems and directions for cross-regional ecosystem cooperation, and Chien Hao-ting was the sole corporate representative invited to speak at the press conference.

Chin Ming Industrial explained that following its expansion into the European market, this participation in the "Japan-Ukraine Drone Cluster," initiated by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (UCCJ), represents the latest progress in expanding its international industry dialogue. The initiative aims to promote exchanges in technology, manufacturing capabilities, and application experience within the unmanned systems industry, focusing on development in areas such as disaster response, infrastructure inspection, medical logistics, maritime security, and public safety. The event brought together industry representatives from Japan, Ukraine, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia to discuss the development direction and industry cooperation models for next-generation autonomous systems.

Chin Ming Industrial stated that as the applications of unmanned vehicles continue to expand, industry competition has gradually shifted from single products or technologies to supply chain resilience, system integration capabilities, and practical field application experience. Establishing an industrial ecosystem that is both reliable and capable of sustainable development has become a critical issue of global concern for the unmanned systems industry.

However, Chin Ming Industrial emphasized that at present, there is still a lack of stable and trustworthy communication channels between Taiwanese and Ukrainian companies, and certain thresholds still exist in areas such as technological cooperation, product verification, and industry matchmaking. This event provides a more efficient exchange platform for Taiwanese companies and the Ukrainian industry, which will help promote technological verification and cooperation processes.

Chin Ming pointed out that with its positioning in non-red supply chains and complete manufacturing solutions from Taiwan, the company has invested in the research and development of autonomous unmanned vehicles, flight control systems, and related key technologies. It has currently released products such as the VIPER series drones and the JMG Flight Remote Controller, covering autonomous R&D capabilities for both aerial vehicles and ground control systems. The next stage of development for the unmanned vehicle industry will not be solely built by a single participant, but will require cross-national connections in innovative R&D, manufacturing capabilities, supply chains, and practical field experience. How Japan, Ukraine, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia establish long-term and trustworthy collaborative relationships will be key to accelerating the development of next-generation autonomous systems.
