Early warnings and closures will be implemented if necessary.
The Hsinchu County Government convened its disaster response center today, chaired by Magistrate Yang Wen-ke, to hold a typhoon preparedness meeting. Seventy sewer water level monitoring stations and eight self-help disaster prevention communities have been activated. The Public Works Department's disaster response team and contractors on standby agreements are ready for emergency repairs.
The county government indicated that two locations, Xiangdao Zhuliu Line at 2K and Zhusan-1 Line at 3K, are still undergoing reconstruction from previous disasters and have been preemptively closed with advance warning. Road users have been notified to use alternate routes.
The county government pointed out that all bureaus and departments have initiated horizontal communication and response. The Fire Bureau has completed inspections of rescue vehicles, water pumps, and water rescue equipment. Heavy machinery and repair contractors have been notified to move into the mountainous areas of Jianshi and Wufeng in advance, with preemptive evacuations to be implemented if necessary.
