(CNA) Reporter Lu Yan-ci, Taipei, July 9) The Ministry of Finance announced today that June exports reached $74.83 billion, the third highest single-month record in history, an increase of 40.3% year-on-year. Among these, information and communication technology (ICT) and audio-visual products exports were $33.92 billion, also the third highest single-month record in history, while electronic components exports were $25.39 billion, the second highest single-month record in history.

The Ministry of Finance today announced the preliminary statistics for June customs import and export trade. June export value was $74.83 billion, a year-on-year increase of 40.3%, marking 32 consecutive months of positive growth. Import value was $62.63 billion, a new record high for a single month in history, with a year-on-year increase of 51.8%.

Cumulative exports for the first six months reached $416.66 billion, a year-on-year increase of 47.1%. Cumulative imports for the first six months reached $319.25 billion, a year-on-year increase of 40.3%. (Editor: Yang Kai-xiang) 1150709
