Lienchiang County is participating in the Taipei International Summer Travel Fair to promote the unique island culture and charm of Matsu. This year's theme is 'Matsu YABA' (YABA means 'amazing' in the Matsu dialect). According to the County's Industrial Development Office, the exhibition will run from July 17 to 20, featuring collaboration with the Transportation and Tourism Bureau, Matsu Liquor Factory, and local businesses.

A 'Delicious Standing Tasting Zone' will be set up at the venue, offering fresh mussels known as 'black gold of the sea' and the 15-year aged Matsu Kaoliang liquor, which has been selected for national banquets. Visitors will experience the distinctive flavors from Taiwan's northernmost frontier.

Under the 'Matsu Goodies' brand led by the Industrial Development Office, a collection of products funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs' SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) program and popular local souvenir brands will be sold on-site, allowing visitors to purchase representative local specialties in one place.

To promote autumn island tourism, the Lienchiang County Travel Industry Association is offering an exclusive 'Matsu Karlou GO' 3-day, 2-night tour covering Nangan, Beigan, and Dajiu Islands during the fair. Priced from NT$8,999, on-site purchasers will receive bonus gifts such as limited-edition beer from the Matsu International Art Island and rowing boat experience tickets at Beihai Tunnel.

Additionally, a lucky draw will be held for visitors who meet certain spending thresholds, with prizes including round-trip air tickets between Taiwan and Matsu, and smartphones.
