(CNA, London, 14th -综合外电) U.S. inflation data released today for June showed a slowdown, reducing investor expectations that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will raise interest rates later this month. As a result, major European stock markets closed slightly higher.
The London FTSE 100 index rose 31.10 points, or 0.30%, closing at 10,529.39 points.
The Frankfurt DAX index edged up 32.78 points, or 0.13%, to close at 25,147.03 points.
