July Electronics and Financial Futures Both Decline

The Taipei stock market closed down 642.57 points today at 44,737.95 points. July electronics futures settled at 2,877.40 points, down 46.25 points, with a premium of 23.79 points over spot. July financial futures closed at 3,071.80 points, down 59 points, showing a discount of 24.53 points to spot.

July electronics futures ended at 2,877.40 points, down 46.25 points, with 322 contracts traded. August electronics futures settled at 2,926.25 points, down 28.60 points, with 112 contracts traded.

Electronics spot closed at 2,853.61 points, down 47.80 points. Compared to July electronics futures, the spot showed a premium of 23.79 points.

July financial futures closed at 3,071.80 points, down 59 points, with 553 contracts traded. August financial futures settled at 3,075.60 points, down 54.40 points, with 90 contracts traded.

Financial spot closed at 3,096.33 points, down 32.98 points. Compared to July financial futures, the spot showed a discount of 24.53 points. Final closing prices are subject to official exchange announcements. 1150714
