July Electronics and Financial Futures Rise Together

(Central News Agency, Taipei, July 15) The Taipei stock market rose 893.64 points today, closing at 45,631.59 points. July electronics futures closed at 2,923.90 points, up 51.45 points, with a positive spread of 13.72 points over spot. July financial futures closed at 3,122.20 points, up 50 points, with a positive spread of 14.22 points.

July electronics futures settled at 2,923.90 points, rising 51.45 points, with 103 contracts traded. August electronics futures closed at 2,945.25 points, up 20.10 points, with 153 contracts traded.

Electronics spot closed at 2,910.18 points, up 56.57 points. Compared to July futures, the positive spread was 13.72 points.

July financial futures closed at 3,122.20 points, up 50 points, with 111 contracts traded. August financial futures settled at 3,082.60 points, up 7 points, with 305 contracts traded.

Financial spot closed at 3,107.98 points, up 11.65 points. The July financial futures showed a positive spread of 14.22 points over spot. Final closing prices are subject to official announcements by the Futures Exchange. 1150715
