(TSNN reporter Yu Xiaohan, Taipei, 16th) The art plane Sorayama, under Starlux Airlines, made its maiden flight to Phoenix, USA. Starlux Airlines simultaneously announced that, in response to the travel demand in Phoenix, the Taipei-Phoenix route will not only be fully operated by the A350-1000 aircraft but will also add one flight per week from December 7th to January 25th next year.
Starlux Airlines issued a press release today stating that the 'Sorayama' (B-58553) made its first flight to Phoenix, USA, on the 14th. A launch event was held at the Phoenix Airport, and limited gifts were given to passengers on flight JX025 from Phoenix to Taipei, including an exclusive ribbon for the maiden flight of the art plane, a commemorative flash card, and an AIRSORAYAMA limited bag.
Starlux Airlines also announced that, in response to the growing travel demand in the Phoenix market, the Taipei-Phoenix route has been fully upgraded to be operated by the A350-1000 aircraft. It is planned that from December 7th, 2026, to January 25th, 2027, in addition to the current flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, a flight on Mondays will be added, reaching a total of five flights per week.
Starlux Airlines collaborated with Japanese artist Sorayama to launch the STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA art project. Using the flagship A350-1000 aircraft of Starlux Airlines, one gold and one silver art plane were launched.
