Acting Judicial Yuan President Hsieh Ming-yan visited the Kinmen Branch of the Fuchien High Court and the Kinmen District Court to inspect new facilities and hold discussions with local court presidents. Given Kinmen's geographic constraints, the meetings focused on expanding remote video hearings, easing the use of courtroom voice recognition systems, and planning for additional staffing to handle increasing caseloads. Hsieh emphasized that the Judicial Yuan is actively promoting AI, digitalization, and paperless policies to improve administrative efficiency and reduce the burden on judges and clerks. The suggestions gathered will be brought back for further evaluation.
