Aogu Wetland Film 'Song of Life' Wins Special Jury Award at WorldFest Houston

The Chiayi Branch said 'Song of Life' took two years to film and produce, capturing the interplay of light and shadow and species interaction in the wetland through documentary footage to showcase the moving beauty of natural symbiosis, earning recognition from the 59th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival. Li Ding-zhong, Director of the Chiayi Branch, said 'Song of Life' revolves around the concept of the wetland as a new paradise. The film's inspiration came from the creative concepts of the poet Du Ye, filming the day and night natural landscapes and rich ecological diversity within the Aogu Wetland Forest Park to record the beauty of change and survival among all living things in the wetland. Li expressed hope that through the film, audiences can see the wetland from a different perspective, understand the connection and coexistence within nature, and inspire more people to pay attention to environmental conservation. Li stated that Aogu Wetland is an important wetland ecosystem in the Chiayi area, with vast waters and abundant food resources, providing an ideal environment for birds to nurture new life.
