Bus Crashes into Hillside in Taipei Due to Suspected Mechanical Failure, 3 Slightly Injured

A public bus in Taipei City lost control while passing through Wenshan District near Wanhe Street, crashing into a hillside due to suspected mechanical failure. The driver and two passengers suffered minor abrasions on their hands and feet, but remained conscious and are not in life-threatening condition. Police stated that the driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs. After the accident, police assisted with on-site rescue and traffic management, and traffic has since returned to normal. The Wenshan First Precinct is reviewing surveillance footage and conducting interviews to clarify the exact cause of the accident.
