According to the Central News Agency, the New Taipei City Water Resources Bureau stated that due to pipeline replacement work by the Taiwan Water Corporation, parts of Zhonghe, Banqiao, and Tucheng will face a 23-hour water outage from 9:00 AM on the 30th to 8:00 AM on the 31st. Over 20,000 households will be affected, and residents are advised to store water 6 hours before the outage. The New Taipei City Water Resources Bureau issued a press release today stating that the Taiwan Water Corporation's 12th District Management Office is conducting the "Zhonghe District Deguang Road 1100mm Pipeline Replacement Project." The outage will affect 23,856 households (including 2,907 direct supply households). The affected areas include streets in Zhonghe, Banqiao, and Tucheng. The Water Resources Bureau reminds residents to store water as the outage exceeds 12 hours, and to turn off water pumps during the outage to prevent damage or fire. Seven temporary water supply stations are available if needed.
