As fraud tactics increasingly infiltrate the lives of teenagers, the New Taipei City Education Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Taipei Fubon Bank on the 22nd. The initiative will conduct 40 awareness sessions in high schools and middle schools, focusing on online shopping scams, fake customer service, lottery scams, and concert ticket fraud to enhance students' ability to identify and protect themselves against fraud. Ou Jen-hao, Deputy Director of the Education Bureau, stated that teenagers rely heavily on social media and online shopping, making it crucial for them to develop the ability to verify suspicious information. The program will use real-life cases to teach students the 'Stop, Check, Verify' approach to fraud prevention.
