The final screening in Taiwan was held today. Director Chen Yu-hsun said that he felt uneasy and anxious when the film was first released, but he is grateful for the audience's support, which has allowed the film to survive until now. According to data provided by the distributor, 'The Great Fog' has been screened in Singapore, the United States, Canada, Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands. It was also selected for the main competition section of the Far East Film Festival in Udine, served as the closing film for the Singapore Chinese Film Festival, and was featured at the Hong Kong International Film Festival. In addition to Chen Yu-hsun, producers Yeh Ju-feng and Lee Lieh, art director Wang Chih-cheng, cinematographer Chen Chi-wen, lighting director Chung Chiung-ting, stylist Hsu Li-wen, composer Lu Lu-ming, and post-production producer Chen Hui-chun also attended the post-screening event. Chen Yu-hsun said, 'I was very uneasy and anxious when the film was released six months ago. I didn't expect to make it this far. Thank you to the audience for your strong support.' Lee Lieh said, 'When I first read the script, I just thought, I'm making another unprofitable film. I didn't expect 'The Great Fog' to bring us to where we are today. Thank you for your support; it is thanks to everyone and the staff that we have reached this point.' There were two audience members at the event who had watched the film over 50 times, and Chen Yu-hsun signed autographs for fans who brought movie merchandise.
