Ko Wen-je Political Donation Case: Control Yuan Affirms Legal Compliance

According to CNA, the Control Yuan has finalized a penalty of 2.54 million TWD and the confiscation of over 55.79 million TWD against TPP Chairman Ko Wen-je regarding political donation violations. Ko accused the Control Yuan and the District Prosecutors Office of collusion. The Control Yuan responded by stating that all investigations were conducted objectively and in accordance with the law, noting that Ko failed to report donations from concerts and merchandise sales.
