Semiconductor Documentary 'The Mountain Builders' Screened in Malaysia, Showcasing Taiwan's Values

The documentary 'The Mountain Builders: The Century's Bet,' which chronicles the history of Taiwan's semiconductor industry, was screened in Malaysia. Lien Yu-ping, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, emphasized that the film showcases the development of Taiwan's semiconductor industry from scratch and the 'Taiwan value' of 'success is the only option.' Directed by Hsiao Chu-chen, the film took five years to produce and features interviews with over 80 key figures, illustrating how Taiwan built its global semiconductor powerhouse.
