The Central Weather Administration (CWA) stated that from tomorrow until the 27th, the weather will be sunny to cloudy, with occasional afternoon thunderstorms in the northeastern region and eastern mountainous areas. Residents in Greater Taipei, the Huadong Valley, and inland central and southern regions should be cautious of local high temperatures reaching 37°C. On the 29th, a front—the fourth of the plum rain season—will approach, bringing rain to central and northern Taiwan. CWA forecaster Lin Ting-yi noted that for the next week, until the 28th, the weather will remain relatively stable and hot. On the 28th, while the weather will be cloudy to sunny, afternoon rainfall will expand, with local thunderstorms in Greater Taipei and the northeast. On the 29th, affected by the front, central and northern Taiwan will see local showers or thunderstorms, while other areas will be cloudy with occasional afternoon rain. On the 30th, eastern and central-southern regions may see local showers. Due to potential tropical cyclones later in the period, the forecast remains uncertain. Regarding temperatures, the CWA indicates that highs will range from 30°C to 35°C until the 28th, with some areas potentially hitting 37°C. Temperatures will drop slightly after shifting to northeasterly winds on the 29th. Additionally, the CWA reminds the public to monitor tropical disturbances developing east of the Philippines between late May and early June.
