In an op-ed for Türkiye's largest English-language newspaper, Daily Sabah, Taiwan's representative to Türkiye, Huang Chih-yang, noted that AI and digital health are reshaping global healthcare systems. He stated that Taiwan and Türkiye have highly complementary strengths in smart healthcare, chronic disease management, and public health. Huang proposed the creation of a "Smart Health Corridor" to enhance global health security. Taiwan has established 19 national-level medical AI centers and has over 50 AI medical products approved. He also reiterated the importance of Taiwan's participation in the WHO to realize the goal of "Health for All."
