Central News Agency, Taipei, May 25. Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) experienced a signal malfunction. THSR announced that it will operate three non-reserved trains per hour in both directions throughout the day, utilizing overnight maintenance to investigate the root cause. Due to the signal issue, THSR adjusted its schedule starting at 8:00 AM, canceling all original services. Trains will depart from Nangang (southbound) and Zuoying (northbound) at the top of the hour, 20, and 40 minutes past. THSR is coordinating with other transport providers and providing supplies to passengers. Passengers are advised to check the updated last train times. Refunds are available within one year without fees, with specific compensation tiers for delays exceeding 30 and 60 minutes.
