Drug Packaging Site Broken Up in Keelung; Suspect Arrested After Ramming Police Car

The Keelung City Police Bureau's Fourth Precinct raided a suspected etomidate drug packaging site in a residence in Anle District on the evening of the 23rd. Three suspects were caught on-site with drug paraphernalia and finished products. During the operation, a 33-year-old man surnamed Tsai arrived in a vehicle with a revoked license. He refused to cooperate and rammed a police car in an attempt to escape. Officers broke the car window and used pepper spray to subdue him. Tsai tested positive for drugs. All four suspects were transferred to the Keelung District Prosecutors Office on charges including drug offenses, public endangerment, and obstruction of justice. The police reiterated their 'zero tolerance' policy toward drug crimes.
