Central News Agency reporter Su Siyun (Taipei, 25th) Fubon Financial's subsidiaries, Fubon Life and Fubon Insurance, are accelerating the deployment of digital insurance services. By introducing AI and digital identity verification applications, they have optimized three major processes: insurance application, underwriting, and claims. Fubon Life has launched a "one-click mobile application" and built intelligent assistants for underwriting and claims to accelerate processing efficiency. According to Fubon Financial's press release, Fubon Life has deepened its AI digital applications, connecting the three service processes. On the application side, Fubon Life introduced a "one-click mobile application" allowing customers to complete MID identity verification, sign the service agreement online, and finalize the signature using a one-time password (OTP) after confirming the documents. Fubon Life pointed out that on the underwriting side, a generative AI model was used to build an "underwriting intelligent assistant," which helps summarize medical records, solving the pain point of reading large amounts of professional medical English records and allowing underwriters to focus on risk assessment. The "claims intelligent assistant" on the claims side can assist in reading medical certificates, pathology reports, and medical expense receipts, providing reference for judgment and improving overall efficiency. In addition, Fubon Insurance launched the "FacePass" AI facial recognition service, becoming the first in the insurance industry approved by the competent authority to pilot digital identity verification and online application signing mechanisms.
