Simplo Technology Expands Operations, Building New Factory in Vietnam

Central News Agency, Taipei, May 25. Battery module manufacturer Simplo Technology announced today that to meet operational needs, its subsidiary, SIMPLO TECHNOLOGY (VIETNAM) COMPANY LIMITED, will build a factory on its own land. Simplo noted that the counterparty for this construction contract is VISICONS Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company. The civil engineering contract amount is 358.5 billion Vietnamese Dong, and the mechanical and electrical contract amount is 305 billion Vietnamese Dong, totaling 663.5 billion Vietnamese Dong (approximately NT$791 million). Simplo Technology was established in 1992 and is dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of lithium battery modules. Its operational headquarters is in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and its production bases include Chongqing and Changshu in China, as well as Vietnam.
