NVIDIA to Hold Taiwan Employee Meeting in Beitou Shilin Tech Park on May 27; Jensen Huang to Attend

AI chip giant NVIDIA announced today that it will hold a Taiwan employee meeting on the morning of May 27 at the T17 and T18 sites in the Beitou Shilin Technology Park (Beitou-Shilin Tech Park) to celebrate the launch of the 'NVIDIA Constellation' project. CEO Jensen Huang will attend in person. Last May, during his keynote speech at COMPUTEX, Huang announced that NVIDIA's Taiwan headquarters would be located in the Beitou-Shilin Tech Park and named 'NVIDIA Constellation.' Although NVIDIA has not yet applied for a building permit, Yu Chi-hsueh, head of the Taipei City Construction Management Office, stated that while construction cannot officially begin without a permit, landowners or developers are free to hold ceremonial groundbreaking events. Huang, who arrived in Taiwan on the 23rd, had dinner with TSMC founder Morris Chang and his wife on the 24th. He mentioned that he has a busy schedule, including meetings with Quanta Chairman Barry Lam and TSMC Chairman C.C. Wei, and confirmed he will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Taiwan headquarters on the 27th.
