With year-end elections approaching, the Qiaotou District Prosecutors Office launched an 'Election Integrity Task Force' on the 25th. Chief Prosecutor Kuo Ching-tung stated that election-related crimes have become increasingly diverse, and the office will uphold the principle of 'investigating every rumor and prosecuting every case with evidence' to protect democracy. The task force will collaborate with police, investigation bureaus, and immigration agencies to combat bribery, violence, foreign interference, illegal betting, and disinformation. The office also announced a reward of up to 20 million NTD for whistleblowers reporting election-related crimes.
