In response to questions from DPP Legislator Chen Chun-yu regarding the progress of the Army's drone battalions, Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Chen Chien-yi confirmed that the battalions in all three operational zones were fully formed in April. Defense Minister Wellington Koo emphasized that procurement will continue to avoid a situation where units are formed but lack equipment. In the interim, training drones will be used to ensure the battalions maintain operational readiness. The Legislative Yuan is currently reviewing the 115th-year national defense budget.
