The Youth Development Administration (YDA) of the Ministry of Education announced today that the 'Youth 10 Billion Overseas Dream Fund' aims to help young people expand their international horizons and improve cross-disciplinary skills. Through overseas internships, exchanges, and professional training, the program seeks to cultivate future talent with global competitiveness and social concern. Deputy Minister of Education Liu Kuo-wei stated that the program emphasizes 'equal opportunity,' hoping to allow youth from different backgrounds to participate in international affairs. In 2025, 1,463 youths were sent abroad, and in 2026, the program expects to support 3,000. This year, a support scheme was launched to lower participation barriers. Shin Kong Life mentioned that through this partnership, they hope to help youth overcome resource limitations and pursue their dreams. The company offers exclusive gift packs at airport service counters for participants and mentors, as well as insurance plans covering overseas sudden illnesses and emergency assistance services. The Taishin Youth Foundation stated that it remains committed to youth empowerment and social participation, continuing to accompany young people in exploring themselves and the world. Participant Chung Yi-yun shared that the program allowed her to study at an equestrian facility in Europe, enhancing her professional skills and establishing international connections for Taiwan's equestrian industry.
