As the hidden camera scandal involving medical aesthetic clinics continues, Guangze Clinic issued another apology today, stating that it has completely removed all controversial recording equipment. To protect member rights, the clinic has allocated NT$80 million to establish a member protection trust fund, which will be jointly managed and supervised by lawyers and accountants. The clinic also emphasized that it will provide dedicated staff to assist with refund requests. The New Taipei City Health Bureau has imposed a fine of NT$500,000 on both the Banqiao and Zhongshan branches and ordered a six-month suspension of operations. The clinic stated it will fully cooperate with the judicial investigation and will not evade responsibility.
