CNA (Taipei, May 26) The Control Yuan released asset disclosures for public officials today. Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai and his wife reported 2.71 million TWD in deposits, 5 plots of land, 5 buildings, and over 10 million TWD in debt. Miaoli County Magistrate Zhong Dong-jin and his wife reported over 100 plots of land and 188.86 million TWD in deposits, a decrease of approximately 110 million TWD from their previous filing. The latest issue of the Control Yuan's Integrity Journal disclosed the 2023 asset data for several county and city heads, including Yang Wen-ke (Hsinchu County), Zhong Dong-jin, Wang Hui-mei (Changhua County), Chang Li-shan (Yunlin County), Chen Chi-mai, and Chou Chun-mi (Pingtung County). Yang Wen-ke and his wife placed 4 plots of land in Hsinchu City in trust and reported 14.34 million TWD in deposits. Zhong Dong-jin and his wife own 62 plots of land and 7 buildings in Miaoli and Hsinchu counties, with an additional 61 plots of land and 3 buildings held in trust. Wang Hui-mei and her husband own 1 building and 2 plots of land in Changhua County, with 4.3 million TWD in deposits and 7.46 million TWD in debt. Chang Li-shan and her husband reported 1 building and 3 plots of land in Yunlin County, with 19 million TWD in deposits. Chen Chi-mai and his wife own 1 building and 3 plots of land in Pingtung and Kaohsiung, with 2.71 million TWD in deposits and 11.55 million TWD in debt. Chou Chun-mi and her husband reported 1 plot of land and 2 buildings in Pingtung County, with 15.89 million TWD in deposits.
