Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim Encourages Outstanding Young Women to Break Barriers

Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim met with the winners of the 27th 'Ten Outstanding Young Women' awards today. Hsiao praised the professionalism and strength demonstrated by Taiwanese women in fields such as medicine, biotechnology, technology, police and fire services, and agriculture. She emphasized that the government supports women's development through policies like entrepreneurship loans and leadership training, and encouraged the winners to continue breaking barriers and become role models for the next generation. She also cited former President Tsai Ing-wen as an example of breaking traditional frameworks.
