Central News Agency (Taipei, 26th) The Ministry of Education held the "115th Annual Ministry of Education Senior High School Natural Science Adaptive Teaching Material Cross-Project Exchange" in Taipei, inviting scholars and frontline teachers to share how to apply AI and other digital tools in teaching to spark innovation. The Ministry of Education released a press release today stating that the event, held at National Taiwan Normal University, brought together teachers from fields such as chemistry, biology, earth science, and electrical/electronic engineering to observe and learn from each other. In recent years, the rapid development of AI has impacted primary and secondary education. The Ministry noted that teachers can use AI tools within the "Adaptive Learning Platform" (因材網) to guide students in pre-class learning, classroom activities, homework, and remedial studies, allowing them to better grasp student progress and adjust instruction. During the exchange, Yang Tzu-chi from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University analyzed how to use data from the platform to understand student outcomes and provide timely guidance. Tseng Ching-liang from Taipei Municipal Yongchun High School shared how to integrate AI into daily teaching to assist with lesson preparation and classroom interaction. The Ministry hopes that this interdisciplinary exchange will promote mutual learning and encourage teachers to make good use of AI and data analysis tools. The "Adaptive Learning Platform" is an online learning platform promoted by the Ministry, allowing students to learn at their own pace while assisting teachers in differentiated instruction.
