Shen Yu-lin and Melody Reunite on Show; Melody Says She's Ready to Work Together Again

Central News Agency, Taipei, May 26. Entertainers Shen Yu-lin and Melody previously co-hosted the show '11 O'Clock Hot Pot' but left the program one after another due to personal or health reasons. Recently, they reunited on the show, and Melody emotionally stated that if there is another chance to work with Shen, she would do so without hesitation. After an 11-month hiatus, the golden duo of '11 O'Clock Hot Pot' appeared on the same stage again. According to the show's press release, Melody and Shen attended as guests and couldn't stop talking once they met. Shen joked that he suddenly got sick after his partner left the show last year. Melody replied, 'I also went through a lot after leaving the show!' When Shen curiously asked what she had been busy with over the past year, Melody laughed and said, 'I was waiting for today!' Shen immediately teased, 'Then you were quite useless!' The familiar rhythm of their banter kept the set filled with laughter. When asked if they would have the chance to host together again, Melody said without hesitation, 'I have no problem with that, as long as time permits.' She admitted that her initial departure was due to her two children's schooling, which required frequent travel to the U.S., and she didn't want to affect the show's recording schedule. Melody emotionally expressed that '11 O'Clock Hot Pot' was a peak in her hosting career, and if there is a chance to work with her respected 'big brother' Shen Yu-lin again, she would 'of course do it without hesitation.'
