Etron's eYs3D and Cupola360 Partner for Smart Patrol; VIA Labs Showcases USB-C Solutions

Etron Technology's subsidiary, eYs3D, announced today a partnership with Cupola360, a subsidiary of Aspeed, to showcase a smart public safety patrol Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solution at COMPUTEX. VIA Labs will also demonstrate its new-generation chip, VL610, designed for multi-screen expansion. According to Etron, the joint solution uses eYs3D's AMR chassis integrated with Cupola360's panoramic smart patrol camera. This allows the equipment to move autonomously and capture real-time environmental footage. Etron stated that the panoramic imaging reduces blind spots compared to fixed cameras, improving coverage in public spaces and helping managers monitor sites effectively. The companies plan to deepen cooperation in smart patrol, public safety, and machine vision, targeting system integrators, transport operators, and large public venues. VIA Labs noted that the VL610 supports up to three high-resolution displays, suitable for USB-C docking stations and high-end video adapters.
