He urged that the situation be viewed from the perspective of protecting the former president and the Kuomintang (KMT), rather than engaging in counterproductive actions. Zhong attended a KMT training session in Miaoli today, where he shared his personal experience. He recounted how, when he wanted to start a business in his youth, his four sisters helped him by taking out home loans and using their savings to raise millions. He noted that such family support might be hard for outsiders to grasp, but he believes Ma's family feels the same way. Zhong argued that "some things become less perfect the more they are discussed," and that the focus should be on respecting the family and protecting the party.
