2026 National Disability Sports Games Conclude; 105 National Records Broken, Yunlin Takes the Baton

The 2026 National Disability Sports Games concluded today, with a total of 562 medals awarded and 105 national records broken across 91 events. During the closing ceremony, Yunlin County Deputy Magistrate Hsieh Shu-ya accepted the flag, symbolizing the continuation of the games. New Taipei City Deputy Mayor Liu Ho-jan praised the athletes' spirit of overcoming limits. Lu Chung-jen, Counselor of the Sports Administration, emphasized that the government will continue to invest in inclusive sports and barrier-free environments. Many athletes, including Huang Kai-lun and Wei Yu-tse, achieved remarkable results during the event.
