June Taiwan Index Futures Rise by 23 Points

The Taipei stock market closed down 119.03 points today, ending at 43,525.37 points. June Taiwan Index Futures closed at 43,893 points, up 23 points, resulting in a positive spread of 367.63 points compared to the spot index. The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the near-two-month index futures contracts at 43,870 points for June and 43,863 points for July. The total turnover for the Taiwan stock market today was NT$1.473223 trillion. The June futures contract saw a volume of 56,377 lots, while the July contract closed at 43,890 points, up 27 points, with a volume of 386 lots.
