Earth hacks Hosts 'MIDORI CHALLENGE CONTEST 2026' at Grand Green Osaka Over Six Days

Earth hacks Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Sumito Sekine), a platform developer focused on co-creating decarbonization products and services, hosted the 'MIDORI CHALLENGE CONTEST 2026' at Grand Green Osaka over six days, from April 24 to May 2, 2026. This initiative, part of 'MIDORI FES. 2026,' serves as a business competition where corporations, local governments, and Gen Z university students co-create ideas to solve social issues. Earth hacks is a member of the 'MIDORI Partner' program, a collaboration system for organizations that share the sustainable values of Grand Green Osaka. Takumi Saruhashi of the Umekita MMO emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for corporations and Gen Z to engage in dialogue regarding social challenges. Following four days of group work, the Rohto Pharmaceutical team won the top prize for their service concept utilizing a new chicken essence product, which was highly praised for its unique Gen Z perspective. The judging panel included Hidehito Hashimoto, Sota Nakano, and Ryotaro Tokura, who evaluated the proposals based on impact, feasibility, and uniqueness.
