The Nippon Columbia Group has released "Next Trad," an artist branding movie for Min'yo singer and Tsugaru-shamisen player Koki Nakamura, utilizing AI technology. This film merges traditional Japanese music with cutting-edge AI, combining live-action footage with AI-generated visuals for a new form of expression. Produced in collaboration with amana Inc.'s specialized AI unit, A³, the project attempts a three-layered fusion of "tradition x new generation x technology." The movie's concept is a "journey connecting past and future," visually depicting how traditional music connects to the present and future through a narrative journey across "Earth (Past)," "City (Present)," and "Heaven (Future)."
