Experience the World of Low Vision: 'Compassion Expert Certification Quiz Rally' to be held in Kyoto on April 4

Wakasa Seikatsu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto City) will hold 'Omoiyari Hakase (Compassion Expert) Certification Quiz Expedition Rally,' an experiential event to deepen understanding of vision, at WAKASA&CO. Kyoto Shijo on Saturday, April 4, 2026. This participatory program allows everyone from children to adults to enjoy learning about 'supporting the visually impaired' and the 'heart of compassion.'

At this event, various experiential contents regarding vision are prepared throughout the WAKASA&CO. Kyoto Shijo facility. Visitors can deepen their understanding of visual impairment through corners where they can experience differences in color perception, walking simulations using a white cane, low-vision experiences, and interactions with guide dogs.

Furthermore, each experience corner adopts an 'expedition rally format' where participants challenge quizzes while collecting stamps. Those who collect all stamps and complete their cards will receive original Buruburu-kun character goods. The purpose of this event is to help participants feel the importance of 'compassion' and 'mutual support' in daily life through fun learning experiences. It is suitable for children's learning opportunities as well as participation with family and friends.
