BitStar Inc. (HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Wataru Watanabe), which operates various businesses centered on its influencer marketing platform, has produced the children's anime "Boccia Heroes," based on the sport "boccia," through its anime division, "BitStar Anime." The series has been available on YouTube since March 8, 2026.

This YouTube anime, "Boccia Heroes," is a completely original animated work, with everything from the initial concept and script to character development and music created from scratch. NHK Enterprise is responsible for production and copyright, with animation production handled by BitStar Anime.

"Boccia" is a sport where everyone can compete together, regardless of age, gender, or disability. Through this sci-fi story themed around "boccia," the anime allows children to experience the appeal of the sport in an enjoyable way.

All five episodes have been released and can be watched consecutively.

While 5th grader Yuh Bochiya is playing with his dog Melo, a spaceship suddenly appears, and a mysterious alien life form named Spica possesses Melo. Spica escaped to Earth after its home planet, "Slime Star," was destroyed by evil aliens.

Spica says it is collecting "Core-vols" to revive its companions and restore Slime Star. Collecting five "Core-vols" grants the power to make any wish come true. However, seeking this power, galactic outlaws attack Earth one after another.

To protect his dog Melo, Bochiya decides to fight the aliens with "boccia" alongside Spica. Thus begins the "Boccia Battle," a universe-spanning fight over the "Core-vols." The story of the reluctant hero, Bochiya, starts here.
