Cake.jp Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuki Takahashi), operator of the specialized online cake and sweets store “Cake.jp,” will launch a limited-time pop-up store titled “Classic Picture Book Cookie Tin Selection by Cake.jp” from Wednesday, July 15, to Tuesday, July 28, 2026 (14 days), on the basement floor at Kintetsu Department Store Wakayama Store, Delicious Stage.
This pop-up store has previously been held at Gransta Tokyo inside JR East Japan’s Tokyo Station and over 50 locations nationwide, consistently attracting large crowds and receiving widespread acclaim.
Approximately 19 original cookie tin series and 3 cookie sandwich series will be sold, each co-branded with popular picture books beloved across generations, including 'Lisa and Gaspard,' 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar,' 'Nontan,' 'Who's There, Not Sleeping?,' 'The Bread Thief,' and 'Maybe an Apple,' as well as trending picture book titles.
The picture book collaboration cookie tins are a popular category at Cake.jp, transforming the familiar worlds of children’s picture books into edible treats. The cookies inside are made without wheat, eggs, or dairy, reflecting a commitment to ingredient quality. After enjoying the cookies, the charming tins can be reused as small storage containers, making them ideal gifts.
