The packaging for the anti-aging line 'Infinity The Repair' by KOSÉ Corporation has been awarded the 'Improvement and Rationalization Category' at the 50th Kinoshita Award, hosted by the Japan Packaging Institute. This marks KOSÉ's third win, the first in 11 years.
The Kinoshita Award is Japan's most prestigious honor recognizing excellence in packaging technology development. To develop the containers and boxes for 'The Repair' line, KOSÉ collaborated with NPO Dream to hear directly from individuals struggling with limited hand strength due to stroke aftereffects.
The serum and gel cream containers feature non-slip resin, and the caps require only half the rotation compared to conventional designs, allowing for easy one-handed operation. The boxes are designed for easier opening from the side, and fonts and illustrations are enlarged for better visibility.
KOSÉ continues to prioritize user-centric product development and plans to donate the full prize money to NPO Dream.
