OPRO Inc. has won the general competitive bid conducted by the Intellectual Property Division of the Export and International Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for the 'FY2025 Geographical Indication (GI) Registration Examination and Monitoring System Reconstruction Project.' The Ministry manages the GI protection system, which safeguards the brand value of Japanese agricultural, forestry, and fishery products. The system will operate on a service registered under the Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP). The winning bid amount is 50,141,440 yen (excluding tax), and the contract period runs until March 31, 2027. OPRO continues to provide data optimization solutions under its 'make IT simple' mission.
